I represent people with disabilities with respect to legal problems under the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), the Rehabilitation Act, and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) such as testing accommodations, professional licensing, special education, and the right to live in a non-institutional community setting. I am also a member of New Jersey Special Education Practitioners. My educational background includes the University of Pennsylvania (B.A. in Political Science, 1969) and Yale Law School (J.D., 1972). Prior to 2009, I was a litigation partner with two Philadelphia law firms, representing plaintiffs and defendants in class action, securities and other complex commercial litigation, and I continue to practice in that area as well. I am a member of the American Arbitration Association roster of arbitrators. I was an elected member of the Board of Education in my home community from 1996 to 2008. As a Board of Education member, I was active in planning and construction of new facilities (as Chair of the Buildings & Grounds Committee), employee relations (as Chair of the Negotiations Committee) and education of students with disabilities (as Chair of the Student Services Committee).
