My practice is concentrated on rights of people with disabilities including the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), the Rehabilitation Act, and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), especially relating to testing accommodations, professional licensing, substance use disorder, special education, and the right to live in a non-institutional community setting. I am also a member of New Jersey Special Education Practitioners. I was an elected member of the Board of Education in my home community from 1996 to 2008, and was Chair of several committees covering special education.I am a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (B.A. in Political Science, 1969) and Yale Law School (J.D., 1972). I am also a member of the American Arbitration Association roster of arbitrators for commercial matters.
