CAITLIN PARTON is General Counsel for the Massachusetts Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (MCDHH). She is responsible for providing legal direction and supervision relating to all the regulations, laws, legal decisions, and administrative determinations which impact MCDHH operations. She is also responsible for reviewing and revamping MCDHH programmatic policies, contracts, and interagency service agreements. Caitlin is dedicated to advancing the rights of people with disabilities. In her previous roles at the Mental Health Legal Advisors Committee and Disability Law Center, she represented clients who had been discriminated against on the basis of their disabilities across a wide spectrum of issues, including access to education, housing, effective communication, government services, employment, public accommodations, and health care. Caitlin is a graduate of the University of Chicago and the City University of New York School of Law. She is a board member of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Bar Association and the Disability Rights Bar Association.
